Employee Well-Being Index

A Validated Screening Tool Invented by Mayo Clinic

MC_Brandtag-Primary-inventby-150The Employee Well-Being Index is a validated screening tool invented by Mayo Clinic to evaluate fatigue, depression, burnout, anxiety/stress, and mental/physical quality of life in general employees in the United States. It can be used for ancillary staff at healthcare organizations or any type of employee who may be at a high level of distress/fatigue (ie: pilots, police officers, first responders, etc). An individual’s score is compared to normative data from a large, national sample of U.S. employees. Evidence indicates that the Index is useful not only for identifying employees in distress, but also for identifying those whose degree of distress places them at risk for adverse consequences (e.g. work error or suicidal ideation).
